Let's Do This!

The October 2015 BLOWOUT at the SoCalGas storage site in Aliso Canyon is considered the largest gas leak in U.S. history.  Besides the release of methane at a rate of carloads daily for some four months, toxic chemicals were also emitted.
During the course of the many attempts to seal the leak, thousands of residents of the northern San Fernando Valley had to seek alternative housing for their families as many were getting sick.
As the second anniversary of this disaster approaches, there are still many residents in a 12-mile radius to the damaged well who are still getting ill from asthma and other respiratory ailments, severe rashes, daily nosebleeds, and even environmentally caused cancer.

If you want to gauge your "as the crow flies" distance from the origin of the blowout, here are the coordinates: 34.315083,-118.564069

Each one of us can make a difference.  I hope this website will give you info on how to contact the media, elected officials, and others who can help us in our goal to shut down the Aliso Canyon gas storage facility as well as protect our planet in general.

I'm now on Mastodon: @Pattie541@mastodon.world
